Standard Cooperation Terms

General

The following standard conditions for cooperation apply to Oxalis’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Seller’) entire business relationship with customers (hereinafter referred to as ‘Purchaser’). We do not accept any terms and conditions other than those stated below, or that deviate from our cooperation terms, unless the validity of the same is expressly consented to in writing.

The validity of this catalogue and the prices therein commences on 1 October 2010. Prices pre-dating the release of this catalogue shall no longer be valid.

Minimum order quantity, customised blends

The prices in the catalogue exclude VAT and are subject to change.

The overall value of goods per order must exceed 500 €. For orders below 500 €, a processing fee of 10 € shall be charged.

The minimum purchase quantity of each tea in the catalogue is equal to the packaging of teas stipulated in the catalogue, i.e. 0.5 kg or 1 kg. In pre-packed teas - Oxabag, BonThe - the minimum is one pack.

Customised packaging is possible following prior agreement – see the information below.

Bags of 50g, 100g, 250 g, 500 g,    5 kg, and sacks of 20-25 kg

Oxalis can provide unique customised blends. The minimum purchase quantity for custom blends is 20 kg.


Order confirmation and delivery time

After receiving a binding order from a customer, Oxalis shall confirm receipt of the same within 4 working days and inform the customer about the intended dispatch/delivery time. The time for preparing orders might vary and can take up to 2 weeks, depending on the volume of an order. The delivery time for orders exceeding 2.5 tons of tea/coffee shall be agreed upon individually.

If the arranged delivery time cannot be adhered to by Oxalis or a supplier to us as a result of circumstances beyond our control, the delivery time will be extended accordingly. We undertake to inform the Purchaser of any such instance without delay.

Labels

On 1 kg (and 500g) packaging, the standard language for Oxalis tea/coffee labels is Czech and English. Labels in other languages can be printed on the condition that customers provide suitable translated texts for this purpose and order at least 15 kg of one type. For orders below 15 kg of a type, labels in other languages will not be provided.

Tea pre-packed in 70/90g packs is labelled in the Czech language only. Should the Purchaser wish to buy tea in 70/90g packaging in another language, the minimum quantity to produce such packaging is 200 packs of a type of tea. 

Additional labels for 50-100g packaging can also be printed upon request, for which the minimum quantity is 40 pieces, and will be charged for according to the valid price list.

Transport costs

Oxalis provides free delivery within the EU for orders exceeding 800 €, as calculated from prices in our catalogue. For orders less than this amount and for orders outside the EU, the delivery term is FCA Slušovice, the Czech Republic. The method of transport is subject to agreement.

Quantity discounts

Oxalis provides the following discounts on prices from this catalogue:

·         For orders exceeding 1000 € excluding VAT, a discount of 4%

·         For orders above 1200 € excluding VAT, a discount of 6%

·         For orders above 1500 € excluding VAT, a discount of 8%

Furthermore, Oxalis grants a discount of 3% for payment in cash and for personally collecting goods from the Slušovice warehouse.

Payment terms

New customers are requested to pay in advance or cash. Further terms are subject to mutual agreement.

It is possible to pay in cash in Czech koruna when collecting goods in person or by using the following cards: Maestro, Master Card, Master Card Electronic, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB, and Diner Club International.

Euros are acceptable for cash payment only at the Slušovice warehouse.

The goods shall remain the property of the Seller until full payment is made.

Should the Purchaser be delayed with payment, the Seller reserves the right to prepare new orders in the future after full payment is made.

The charge for any amount outstanding for each day of delayed payment is 0.05 %.

Complaints procedure

The Purchaser must give notice of any defects in the quality of the goods in writing without undue delay, within 30 days of delivery at the latest. Defects in quality which cannot be detected by the Purchaser within this period, even following careful examination, must be notified in writing without undue delay after discovery of the same.

The acceptance of returned goods is subject to prior agreement; only prepaid shipments are accepted.

Please note

We kindly ask customers to send orders intended for dispatch before the end of 2010 by 13 December at the very latest.
The dispatch department is closed from 24 December 2010 to 2 January 2011.

October – December: Mon-Fri 7.30 a.m. till 5.30 p.m. CET
