Description
In the remote mountains of Huehuetenango, close to the Mexican border, a coffee with an exceptionally delicate character and natural sweetness is produced. The Hoja Blanca cooperative brings together small-scale farmers who, through shared processing, are able to create coffee of consistent quality and sustainable origin. The beans are processed using the washed method, which gives them a clean expression and allows the elegant tones of the Guatemalan terroir to shine through. Coffee from this region stands out with its distinctly sweet aroma and smooth, creamy flavour, where notes of nougat, hazelnuts and cream come together in harmony. The acidity is very gentle and the body creamy, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking fullness of flavour combined with refined elegance.
Preparation
Select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
