A little bit of our history

The story of OXALIS began with our passion for quality loose tea. In the summer of 1993, this passion led to the creation of a small family business that, over more than a quarter of a century, has grown into a renowned importer, processor and distributor of loose teas and now also of fine coffee.

We have built strong contacts in the growing countries from where we import our products directly (direct trade). We are also constantly searching for new attractive tea gardens and coffee plantations to bring the most interesting from around the world to your cups.

We carefully select pure teas and coffees from the best lots, and we stand firmly behind the quality of our products. We consistently control the content of pesticides, heavy metals and microbiology so that the teas and coffees meet European Union rules.

We roast our coffee on a modern, ecological Loring Smart roaster. We have our own development laboratory, where our tasting team creates original tea and coffee blends. We apply various aromas to tea and coffee (and ingredients for teas), creating unique creations.

Our products are packaged on semi-automatic and automatic lines. We ensure strict separation of pure teas and coffees from flavored ones. Separating tea itself from coffee is a matter of course.

Our distribution network is based on our own and franchise stores. In the Czech Republic, their number has already reached 65, and together they generate more than half of the total turnover. Our products can also be purchased from several hundred other wholesale customers. Domestic distribution is complemented by export - we export OXALIS products to more than 40 countries around the world.
