Description
Lady's Mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) is one of the traditional European herbs that has been valued in folk herbalism for centuries. Its characteristic serrated leaves are able to collect morning dew, which once gave the plant an almost magical reputation. These sparkling droplets fascinated medieval alchemists who believed they possessed extraordinary powers.Throughout Central Europe, Lady's Mantle was a popular feature of cottage gardens and medicinal herb collections. In folk traditions, it was associated with femininity, harmony and care.Scientific literature mentions Lady's Mantle in connection with normal digestion and the normal condition of joints and muscles. It contributes to menstrual and premenstrual comfort and helps refresh the body. However, EU legislation does not allow us to describe the health effects of herbs.
