Description
A rare yellow tea, which was much sought after in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is said that the production method was long lost but rediscovered again in the 1970s. The many awards it has received are testament to its premium quality. Dark, tightly twisted leaves produce a clear golden-yellow infusion. Both the aroma and the flavor captivate with warm notes of roasted hazelnuts, beautifully complemented by the delicate sweetness of tonka bean.
Preparation
Pour water at 80°C over the tea, using a ratio of 12 g per liter. Let steep for 3 minutes. Then strain. Up to 3 infusions can be prepared.
