Description
The garden, formerly known as Bara-Ringtong, has been named Margaret since 1927, and it has remained so to this day. The tea plants of Chinese origin grow here at an altitude of 915–1830 m above sea level. The infusion owes its ochre-yellow color to the small, dark green leaves with lighter tips. The aroma is reminiscent of apricots and meadow honey, and the taste combines young hazelnut with sweet yellow apple.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 5 heaped tsp) per 1 l of water. Bring the water to the boil, then leave to cool to 90°C. Infuse for 3 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
