Description
Kandy is the oldest tea growing region in Sri Lanka. Its history dates back to 1867. The tea is grown here at an altitude of 650 - 1300 m. It is a blend of the Uplands, Harangala and Dartry Valley gardens. After steeping the brown-black leaves, a yellow-orange infusion with the aroma and taste of sweet lemon and cocoa emerges.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 6 heaped tsp) per 1 l of freshly boiled water. Infuse for 3 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
