Description
The Dikom garden lies in the heart of Assam’s tea-growing region and is one of the oldest estates along the Brahmaputra River. Its name was given by the local Bodo-Kachari people, who discovered the unique quality of the water there – pleasantly sweet and smooth in taste. In their language, Di means “water.” The neatly rolled black leaves of this tea produce an infusion with an aroma and flavour reminiscent of citrus juice.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 6 heaped tsp) per 1 l of freshly boiled water. Infuse for 3-5 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
