Description
A unique black tea originating from the province of Hà Giang in northern Vietnam. The area borders the Chinese province of Yunnan. The tea plants here grow at altitudes of around 1,000 m above sea level. These tea plants are often wild and grow naturally in mountainous areas. The harvest is done by hand, often in cool weather, when the leaves are dry and ready to be picked. The brown twisted leaves combined with numerous golden tips create a mahogany-colored infusion after steeping. In the aroma and taste you can find dark raisins macerated in Scotch whiskey.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 5 heaped tsp) per 1 l of freshly boiled water. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Strain and serve. Suitable for 1 infusion.
