Description
Las Mimosas coffee comes from selected growing regions of Nicaragua, particularly Matagalpa, Jinotega and Nueva Segovia, which rank among the country’s most renowned coffee-producing areas. This coffee carries the SHG (Strictly High Grown) designation, meaning it was cultivated at a high altitude of 1,200–1,500 metres above sea level, where slower maturation enhances sweetness and overall complexity. The EP – European Preparation – grade confirms a high sorting standard with minimal defects and only beans of size 15+.The beans are processed using the washed method, which gives the coffee a clean and bright flavour profile. The result is a cup where notes of milk chocolate, pink grapefruit and the gentle nuance of pine nuts come together. The acidity is delicate, and the body velvety.Las Mimosas is an excellent choice as a smooth, balanced base for espresso. Its velvety body and naturally sweet character make it ideal for those who enjoy classic, well-balanced coffees with medium intensity.
Preparation
Select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
