The WHO recommends a maximum daily caffeine intake of 400 mg for healthy adults. These figures apply to filtered coffee; caffeine concentrations can differ significantly with other preparation methods, particularly espresso.
Description
This premium coffee comes from the Reina Elizabeth farm in the West Valley region of Costa Rica, where it is grown at an altitude of 1,450-1,550 m above sea level. Carefully hand-picked Sarchimor beans undergo the Black Honey process, which enhances their natural sweetness and fruity character. After washing, the coffee is dried in the sun for 12 days on African beds and then rests for two months in parchment to fully develop its flavor and aroma. The result is a coffee with delicate acidity and velvety body, in the taste of which notes of sweet caramel, strawberries and black currants combine.
Preparation
Select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
