The WHO recommends a maximum daily caffeine intake of 400 mg for healthy adults. These figures apply to filtered coffee; caffeine concentrations can differ significantly with other preparation methods, particularly espresso.
Description
This coffee comes from the Riverdale farm, located in the picturesque Eastern Ghats of India. The farm’s owner, Prakashan Balaraman, emphasises precise processing and hand-selects only fully ripe coffee cherries, which then undergo the washed method. As a result, the coffee retains a clean expression and a gentle, natural sweetness. Its aroma and flavour reveal notes of milk chocolate and peanuts. The coffee has a sweet, smooth body and low acidity, giving it a harmonious and pleasantly balanced character. It is wonderfully versatile and suitable for all brewing methods – from filter to moka pot and even espresso.
Preparation
Select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
