Description
On the slopes of Mount Kenya, at an altitude of 1500 to 2200 meters, lies the largest tea region in the country. Due to the healthy climate and mineral-rich soils, the teas from this area have unique characteristic properties and a full flavor. The brew has a light yellow color that develops after pouring hot water over the elongated dark green leaves with occasional tips. The aroma features apricot and peach. In taste, you will notice white grapes, peach with a slight umami note.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 6 even tsp) per 1 l of water at the temperature 70-80°C. Infuse for 2-3 minutes. Strain and serve. Suitable for 2-3 infusions.
