Description
Kiru Tea Factory, established in 1993, is located at an altitude of 2,032 m above sea level on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains, surrounded by vast tea gardens. Over the years, the factory has built a significant position in the Kenyan tea industry. The tea is made of elongated black leaves, which, when steeped, give an orange-brown infusion. The aroma and taste combine notes of cigar tobacco and prunes, which gives the tea a unique character.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 5 heaped tsp) per 1 l of freshly boiled water. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
