Description
Korakundah, situated at an altitude of 2,500 m a.s.l., holds the title of the highest tea garden in the world. Its borders adjoin the Madhumallai Nature Reserve, home to the Bengal tiger. When infused, the elongated brown leaves yield a yellow-orange liquor, with notes of dried plum and sandalwood harmoniously balanced in both aroma and taste.
Preparation
Use 12 g of tea (approx. 6 heaped tsp) per 1 l of freshly boiled water. Allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
